Gravitational can filling systems with isobaric performance
We have always designed and manufactured taps and dispensing systems for the beverage sector, with consolidated know-how in fluid management, both in pre-mix and in post-mix, with direct dispensing into the glass. Based on this experience, we also collaborate with companies involved in industrial can filling by offering different valve solutions with high performance and optimized use of carbon dioxide.
Our components are successfully used in filling lines for beer and other sparkling beverages, also sized for small craft beverage productions.
Our team of technicians follows our customers from the idea to the prototypes, to the zero series, up to production, including support during the start-up of the installed systems.
In the field of gravity can filling, we support the customer in the creation of an advanced plant model that develops around Active Flow, ODL’s innovative electronic valve that is able to automatically manage the filling flow without waste of time and product.
Our Active Flow filling valves make it possible to automatically achieve a high filling speed, comparable to isobaric systems, reducing carbon dioxide consumption by up to 80% and keeping the desired oxygen pick-up constant.
The Active Flow filling valve is equipped with a custom-made electronic module of our own hardware and software design (© 2025 ODL), and interfaces with the machine filling control system so as to collect the data necessary for immediate diagnostics and more efficient maintenance, as well as for better management control.
